Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as our merchant of record. Paddle calculates and remits VAT or sales tax for your region automatically and issues the receipt. You can manage billing and download invoices from the receipt email or from your account's billing page.

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your dashboard at any time. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period, no cancellation fees, no long-term commitments.

Your stories are automatically saved to your library and stay there as long as your account is active. You can favorite special ones and re-read them anytime. Direct file download isn't currently available, stories are accessible online through your account.

No. Once generated, a story stays in your account. Many parents enjoy revisiting stories months or years later.

Each story generation costs 10 CozyBucks, so regenerating is the same as creating a new one. If you'd like a different angle, change the topic or theme and generate again. With diverse settings and personalized content, each story is unique.

CozyBucks are our in-app credit. Each story costs 10 CozyBucks, and narration also costs 10. Subscriptions include a one-time welcome CozyBucks bonus when you start, and you can buy more in packs whenever you want. CozyBucks are not a gift card, have no cash value, and are not transferable.

No password needed. Sign in with Google or Facebook, or use our passwordless email magic link, enter your email and we'll send you a secure login link. The magic link expires after 10 minutes for security.

Email changes are handled by support to keep accounts secure. Contact us at hello@cozytales.app from your current email address and we'll update it for you. Your subscription and story history stay intact.

You can request account deletion from your account settings or by contacting support. We'll permanently delete your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. Note that we're legally required to retain certain records (for example, invoices for tax purposes) for a limited period even after account deletion.

We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission and storage. We never sell your personal information. Your data is shared only with the service providers that help us run CozyTales (for example, payment processing, email delivery, and the AI systems that generate stories), these are listed in our Privacy Policy. Your children's information is used solely to personalize their stories.

Yes. CozyTales is fully responsive on phones and tablets, generate and read stories on any device, in portrait or landscape.

Check your internet connection and refresh the page. Make sure you have enough CozyBucks (10 per story). If the problem persists, try clearing your browser cache or a different browser. Make sure you're logged into the correct account. If you created a story as a guest before signing up, you'll find it in your library after creating an account with the same browser. Try clearing your browser cache if stories aren't loading.

In Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data (or Settings > Advanced > enable "Show Develop menu", then Develop > Empty Caches). In Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Data. CozyTales works on every device through your browser, with no App Store required. You can also install it to your home screen for a full app-like experience. On iPhone, open cozytales.app in Safari, tap the Share button, then tap "Add to Home Screen". On Android, Chrome will show an Install prompt automatically, or you can use the browser menu. Once installed, CozyTales opens from your home screen without a browser bar, just like a native app.

We avoid scary content, violence, and inappropriate themes, and we focus on adventure, friendship, problem-solving, and the values you choose. No. CozyTales accounts are for parents and legal guardians only. You must be 18 or older to sign up. Child profiles live inside your account, the child doesn't have a separate login, and we don't ask children for personal information directly. You decide what information to add to each child's profile.

Yes. If you ever encounter something concerning, contact us at hello@cozytales.app and include the story ID. We review and act on such notices promptly in line with our Terms of Service. We take content safety seriously and continuously improve our safeguards.

Our AI uses specific guidelines for each age group, adjusting vocabulary, themes, and complexity. Toddler stories use simple words and repetition; stories for older children include more complex plots. Content is designed to be positive and educational at every age.

You can choose values like kindness, courage, honesty, patience, sharing, responsibility, curiosity, and many more. Each story weaves in your chosen values through plot and character actions, demonstrating them through positive examples rather than preaching.

Yes. Every story is created for your child using their name, age, interests, pets, and chosen values. The AI uses many different settings and tracks recent stories to keep things varied. Every story is generated fresh for your child's profile.

From the dashboard, look for the small prompt that pops up after you've read a few stories — or anytime from Settings → Profile under "Love CozyTales?". You'll pick a star rating (1–5), write a short note, choose a display name, and pick a Cozy avatar to appear next to your review.

Your review is queued for moderation by our team. Once reviewed, it may be selected to appear on our homepage testimonials carousel — we curate which ones are shown based on slot availability. You can check your review's status anytime in Settings → Profile.

A few possibilities: it's still pending moderation; it was approved but waiting for an open display slot; or it wasn't picked for the current carousel. Approved reviews still count toward our overall star rating even when they aren't on the carousel. The status in Settings → Profile will tell you which case you're in.

You can delete your review anytime from Settings → Profile — tap "Delete review" and confirm. We don't currently support in-place edits, but after deleting you can write a fresh review whenever you'd like.

It's the average across all our customer reviews. The homepage only highlights a few, but the rating counts every review except spam or those flagged for guideline violations.
